If you are a mobile gaming addict, then I have good news for you. Yes, the Taiwanese phone maker will soon be adding PlayStation mobile games from Sony to some of its smartphones. The best part is, it is for ‘free’. But the sad news is, it is for a limited time only.
htc_sony_051008085315HTC said that the PlayStation game promotion started last January 30th and it applies to HTC Sense 4+ devices in selected countries.
HTC said: “(C)ustomers in select countries using HTC smartphone with Sense 4+ have the opportunity to download one free game per week through the end of February.”
The Taiwanese phone maker also said that HTC phone owners covered by their promo can go to PlayStation Mobile download hub and get the PlayStation Mobile for Android App.
One of the first free games is “Cubixx” this is a reinvention of the classic action-puzzle game called Qix.

The PlayStation Mobile is currently available for HTC users running Sense 4+ UI in the US, Japan, UK, Canada, Italy, France, Germany, Australia, and Spain.
Now, an article from Taiwan’s CAN (Central News Agency) said that HTC became the first non-Sony vendor to support the PlayStation Certificate program back in June of 2012.
The same publication also said that the program now includes a couple of handset brands in the likes of Sony Mobile Communications AB, Sharp Corporation of Japan, and HTC.
The following HTC models support the PlayStation Mobile games are: HTC One V, HTC One S, HTC One X, HTC One XL, HTC One EVO 4G LTE, and HTC One X+.
