Ford EcoSportNissan’s badge-engineered Renault Duster
Maruti XA-Alpha-based mini-SUV
Compact SUVs are here to stay and the segment is a one of the fastest growing in the Indian market. One of the most-anticipated compact SUV launches is that of the Ford EcoSport in February 2013. This sub-4-metre compact SUV will challenge the Renault Duster which has been chalking up healthy sales figures. The EcoSport will come in petrol and diesel, and an automatic transmission option as well. Nissan will also be building its version of the Renault Duster towards the end of the year and there is Maruti’s XA Alpha to look forward to.
