Mercedes G63 AMG launch
If you clearly remember, this is not the first high powered G Class launch that you have seen in India. Back in 2010, we brought you all the live updates from the G55 AMG launch floor.  But that was then and this is now!

The Mercedes G-Class ( a.k.a The Geländewagen) is an iconic car that owes its roots to the military services. The first G Class was launched some 33 years ago to serve in the military. Since then the armed forces have moved on to more sophisticated and specialized vehicles. The G-Class, on the other hand, thanks to its military credentials, has become a boy toy for rich playboys.

The SUV that is launched in India is the G63 AMG, a performance version of the G-Class that has been honed by the Mercedes’s Affalterbach based performance division AMG.
First unveiled at the 2012 Beijing Auto Show as a replacement to the G55 AMG, the G63 AMG features minor improvements over its predecessor. In fact, the recipe of G-Class has not changed in the last 33 years and that’s probably the charm of this SUV.
The design changes include –
  • A deeper new front bumper with large cooling ducts
  • A double slat grille
  • Side mounted exhaust pipes
  • Five spoke AMG alloy wheels

LG Optimus G Pro With HD Screen

LG’s next big thing is literally big. It’s a smartphone with a 5.5 inch, 1920 x 1080 pixel display. In other words, it’s about the size of a Samsung Galaxy Note phone, but it has a higher resolution screen.
The LG Optimus G Pro also features a shiny new 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor. The Verge reports the phone is expected to ship in North America during the second quarter of 2013.
LG Optimus G Pro
LG’s previous phone, the Optimus G features a Snapdragon S4 processor and a 4.7 inch, 720p display. Google partnered with LG to build the Nexus 4 smartphone, which is basically an Optimus G with rounded edges and no official support for 4G LTE networks.

BlackBerry Z10

BlackBerry Z10 is expected to launch in India the second half of this month. Analysts, however, doubt the prospects of the flagship BlackBerry 10 smartphone in the country due to the likely high pricing.
Research In Motion, now officially known as BlackBerry, will reportedly not be delaying the launch of BlackBerry 10-based devices in India, and is expected to roll out its latest BlackBerry Z10 smartphone in the country in second half of this month. The new BlackBerry devices, however, are unlikely to appeal the Indian market, with analysts predicting operators will sell the device around $750 (roughly Rs. 39,756).
India along with Indonesia have emerged as the top two BlackBerry markets with the company eyeing the low-end subscribers with budget handsets and offering service packages as low as $2 a month. Reuters in its report quotes Melissa Chau, senior research manager at technology research group IDC as saying, “It's clear that not only are India and Indonesia among the largest markets but in terms of future smartphone growth, they're amongst the ones with the most potential. But the two devices that have been launched are not well aligned to the needs of these two markets."
